Lynne Potts

Lynne Potts lives in Boston and New York. After brief tenures in Berkeley, California, and Benson, Vermont, she established herself as a freelance writer in states on the East Coast. In 2003 she moved to New York for a Masters in Fine Arts at Columbia University.

Lynne has published three books of poetry and two local histories. Separate poems have appeared in The Southern Review, The Paris Review, The Literary Review, The Yale Review, American Letters, California Quarterly, Carolina Quarterly, Cincinnati Review, Southwest Review, Commentary, Confrontation, Denver Quarterly, Georgetown Review, Meridian, New American Writing, New Millennium Writing, Seneca Review, Southern Humanities Review, Peregrin, and many other literary journals. Recent work appeared in a collaborative book of photographs taken while she and the photographer made ten road tours around various regions of the country. Lynne has read in many poetry venues including the New England Poetry Club, Boston Public Library, Cambridge Public Library, Poets House, Columbia University, and the KGB Bar in New York City.
